Innophos Presents Clean-Label Whitening Alternative to Titanium Dioxide at IFT First 2026

Attendees will gain insight into why titanium dioxide has been widely used in foods and how evolving safety discussions are influencing reformulation decisions. The presentation will explore how calcium phosphate functions as a whitening and opacifying agent in selected FDA-approved food applications and review case study data comparing calcium phosphate and titanium dioxide performance to help inform potential replacement strategies.
