Potassium Phosphate

Innophos has developed Potassium Phosphates for multiple applications and end-uses.

Monopotassium Phosphate (MKP) is used in sports beverages, coffee creamers, processed cheese and for fortification.  It is also used in water soluble fertilizer applications as a great source of potassium and phosphorous nutrients for healthy plant life.

Dipotassium Phosphate (DKP) is used as a buffering agent for processing foods, to maintain pH, and to stabilize proteins.  Technical application uses include buffering agents in auto cooling systems for corrosion control.

Tetrapotassium Pyrophosphate (TKPP)
is used in drinking water treatment, beverages, and processed foods.  For technical products, it is used as a deflocculant, dispersant and sequestrant in water treatment, textiles, paints, and coatings.
